This book is an impressive compendium of head and neck imaging cases collected over the years and is presented in such a way to illustrate to and guide the reader when considering a set of differential diagnosis in the various head and neck anatomical subsites. The head and neck subsites reviewed include the skull and temporal bones, the orbits, paranasal sinuses and the nasal cavity, suprahyoid and infrahyoid neck, and the brachial plexus. The comprehensive collection comprises annotated CT and MRI images of the various differential diagnoses, accompanied by brief texts outlining the salient imaging findings and key clinical features. The text outlining each diagnosis is tabulated to allow easy reading and quick and efficient information extraction. Each chapter also starts with a concise and beautifully illustrated anatomy and embryology section. The list of references is comprehensive and up-to-date and is remarkably organized into sections to facilitate further reading if required. The book serves both as an ideal reference and revision book for trainees, general radiologists, and specialist head and neck radiologists.
