Abstract
In May 2019, Georgina Allen was appointed section editor for Acta Radiologica within the field of musculoskeletal imaging. David Wilson continues.
Georgina Allen is a member of the International Skeletal Society and the European Society of Skeletal Radiology. She is on committees of the ISS and is the chairman of the ultrasound committee for ESSR. Gina worked as the musculoskeletal editor for European Journal of Radiology (ESR), but her term has now come to an end.
Georgina was a consultant radiologist at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham and the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford. She has authored or co-authored 30 manuscripts, 26 chapters and 1 book – most within the musculoskeletal field.
