Abstract
A double-blind study was carried out with Dolo-Neurobion® and matching tablets containing:
the vitamin B combination, and the metamizol component of the preparation.
Forty-five patients suffering from polyneuritis were each treated with eight tablets a day for fourteen days.
All fifteen patients who received Dolo-Neurobion were free from pain after treatment but this result was not observed in the patients treated with the vitamin combination alone nor with the metamizol component of the preparation.
Dolo-Neurobion also proved more successful after the first half of the treatment (one week), the degree of pain being reduced more significantly than with the other two forms of medication.
