Abstract
After five years in their roles, Professor Christian Berndt and Professor Pauline McGuirk are stepping down as editors of Progress in Human Geography. During their tenures they have handled well over 130 articles each as lead editors and dozens of progress reports, as well as reviewing countless other papers. Beyond this, they have contributed richly to the life of Progress in numerous other ways. They will both be sorely missed. The remaining editors wish to thank them for their sterling service to PiHG.
We are delighted to announce two new editors, who will join Progress from 1 March 2020. They are Professor Alex Hughes and Professor Susan Parnell. Alex is an economic geographer at the University of Newcastle, England. Sue is an urban geographer at the University of Bristol, England. They will each serve as editors for four years.
