Report on the Next Stages of Library Planning,based on the Unesco and IFLA Conferences

At the closing plenary session Robert Vosper, who acted as moderator of the gen eral theme of the 40th IFLA General Council meeting, gave the following consoli dated report, based on the Unesco Intergovernmental Conference on the Planning of National Documentation, Library and Archives Infrastructures and the sessions on the general theme at the Washington meeting. The speakers on the general theme were: F.H. Burkhardt, Joyce Robinson, H. T. Hookway, N. M. Sikorski and Celia Zaher. Their papers will be included in a separate monograph.
