Development of Front Check System for Final Disposal .I. A Model System and Field Practice

Abstract

A rapid extraction method using a kitchen blender and a centrifuge followed by conventional filtration (1μm) and atomic absorption analysis has been developed that permits pass/fail analyses for inorganic pollutants to be determined at the landfill laboratory in less than one hour.
