Abstract

In this first book review section as editor, I am excited to highlight a diversity of thought and practice in Christian education. Ranging from the African experience to singles in ministry to the neuroscience of learning, these books are sure to enlighten and fuel your intellectual imagination as you “equip the saints for the work of ministry” (Eph 4.11). In this issue, the order will flow generally in books represented from the following areas: children’s ministry and families, youth ministry and families, adult ministry and community/small groups, foundations of Christian education, teaching-learning process, spirituality and spiritual formation, and leadership and administration. We invite readers to consider a reviewing a book for CEJ, and if interested, contact Alex Sosler at alex.sosler@montreat.edu for guidelines.
