Abstract
The editors of Adult Education Quarterly (AEQ) mourn the loss of Dr. Kevin Roessger. He was a member of the immediate past AEQ editorial team, serving from 2019 to 2022. His assistance was invaluable to us as we learned our editorial roles and how to navigate the Sage Publishing platform. We appreciated his kind patience and generosity of time, always available to answer questions. He continued to serve as a consulting editor and reviewer on quantitative-based manuscripts for AEQ.
Beyond his contributions to AEQ, we recognize his immense talents as an adult educator and researcher, talents he shared with his colleagues and students at the University of Arkansas and with the field through his leadership. Notably, he received the national Imogene Oaks Award for his research from the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education.
Kevin was as kind as he was brilliant, and his legacy will live on through the many students, peers, and communities he impacted. Thank you, Kevin, for sharing your gifts with Adult Education Quarterly and the field of adult education.
