Abstract
Mawdsley and Munck, in this introductory guide to com puting for historians, treat some basic ways historians can use the computer to enhance their teaching and scholarship. Their entry- level discussions of basic computer usage, word processing, and data base management and analysis are intended for those who teach university students as well as any others who wish to use computers for historical study.
