University-industry collaboration (UIC) plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of higher education. This study explores the benefits of UIC from the university’s perspective, with an emphasis on collaborative support mechanisms that amplify these benefits. This study examines the incentives and mediating factors of UIC related to education, research, and economic benefits within universities, particularly Mongolia. The results of the hypothesis testing indicate that while incentives have direct positive effect on lecturers and students, the mobility of industrial guest professors has negative implications for both economics and research benefits. The study further suggests that professional mobility does not indirectly enhance research or economic benefits within universities. In conclusion, research and education in universities offer numerous benefits, including improved facilities, new knowledge, and employment security. Improving professional mobility, academic freedom, teaching and training programs, economic growth, and research capabilities can significantly improve academic comprehension.
