Abstract
Dear readers,
Another year just started and we’re proud to share with you the good news. HSMR over the last three years has become a truly global journal, with increasing submissions coming from North America, Asia, Middle East, and Africa. Overall submissions have doubled over the last three years, and the depth and variety of contents related to health management and health services design have largely increased.
The partnership with the European Health Management Association is going very well and a second special issue built on the 2019 Conference will be published in the next months.
We have new brilliant Associate Editors. We have strengthened the administration team with another addition. Prof. Palumbo just joined prof. Marsilio and Prenestini.
And above all I’m very happy that 2020 is starting with six articles that touch, very timely, three central themes in the agenda of health managers and decision-makers in all health systems worldwide.
Chronic care services design and management; Issues in building real integrated care; Engaging and motivating professional.
Two articles for each theme. New research questions and perspectives. Findings that spur reflections and new ideas.
