Entropy generation analysis on EMHD non-Newtonian hybrid nanofluid flow over a permeable rotating disk through semi analytical and numerical approaches

In the present study, the effect of entropy production on electromagnetohydrodynamic hybrid nanofluid (Gold- alumina/Blood) flow owing to a rotating disk in the presence of an electric field and thermal radiation are investigated. By applying the self-similarity variables, the PDE is converted into ODEs. After that, by using the Homotopy Perturbation Method (HPM). The Homotopy Perturbation Method (HPM) yields more efficient and reliable results than the numerical (Runge-Kutta) approach. To highlight their physical significance, a unique characteristic graph is shown for the profiles of temperature, velocity, and entropy generation, along with an appropriate explanation. The main findings are the velocity profile is increased by amplifying the Weissenberg, while the porosity and magnetic field reduce it. The temperature profile enhances due to rise in the electric field and radiation parameters. Entropy generation and Bejan number profiles increase due to an increment in Weissenberg and Brinkman numbers. The focus of this research can be applicable in the treatment of atherosclerosis without surgery, as well as to minimize medical expenditures and post-surgical problems. It has far-reaching significance in the treatment of cancers and diseases, as well as the elimination of blood clots.
