Abstract

This Corrigendum corrects a miscalculated percentage in two passages of the original article. The correction does not change the results of any analyses or conclusions of the original article. The first correction is in the fifth sentence of the Abstract, which will now read as follows: “Trained participants were 19% less likely to choose the inferior hypothesis-confirming solution than untrained participants” (p. 1371). The second correction is in the first paragraph, second sentence of the Discussion, which will now read as follows: “Trained students were 19% less likely to choose an inferior hypothesis-confirming case solution than were untrained students” (p. 1377).
