Abstract

In May 2017, it was a great privilege to assume the role of Editor-in-Chief of Energy & Environment succeeding Dr Sonja Boehmer-Christiansen. I am fortunate to be supported by Justine Hope as Managing Editor as well as her team. On behalf of our authors, reviewers and readers, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr Boehmer-Christiansen for her significant commitments and editorship of EAE for 19 years. I wish her and outgoing editorial board members the very best of luck in all of their future endeavours!
