Abstract
To regulate the gas flow in gas generators used in solid ducted rocket ramjets, we propose an enhanced active disturbance rejection control based on a compensation function observer, referred to as CFO-LADRC. We use this observer to improve the estimation of “total disturbance” compared to an extended state observer, and analyze the stability boundaries of the CFO-LADRC based on its transfer function. Furthermore, we extend CFO-LADRC into an active fault-tolerant control framework, enhancing its robustness to actuator faults, and we analyze its stability using Lyapunov-based arguments. Finally, numerical simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results obtained.
