Abstract

Dear Readers
We wish you all the best during these unprecedented times, and hope you, your practice teams, and your families remain safe and well.
For this update, we have refreshed the buildings and resources chapter. Best practice regarding building new premises and maintaining them to a high degree remains the same, but we have updated a variety of resources, links, and provided some case studies which we hope you will find helpful.
It remains to be seen, what the long-term implications of COVID19 will be in primary care, and across the regulatory landscape- as such we have focused on more general policies. Please continue to follow local guidance on as shared by your local public health or primary care organizations- and if these changes sustain, we will update future refreshes of our chapters accordingly.
Stay well. Stay safe.

Let us know what you like and dislike about the handbook so that we can do our best to continue to make it a useful and meaningful aid to managing your practice. Our aim is to provide a more flexible format that can adapt to the ever-changing environment of primary care within days, or even hours, of those changes becoming known.
