In the first complete paragraph on page 378 of this article, the example from Arnold et al. (2019) was stated incorrectly. The second sentence of this paragraph should have said, “More avid readers were more likely to show the adult bias of linking a pronoun with a grammatical subject (e.g., linking “he” with “Panda Bear” in “Panda Bear is having lunch with Puppy. He wants a pizza slice”). This sentence has been corrected in the article.
