Abstract
In the first issue for 2020, no. 51(1), Security Dialogue published an article entitled ‘Is securitization theory racist? Civilizationism, methodological whiteness, and antiblack thought in the Copenhagen School’ by Alison Howell and Melanie Richter-Montpetit. Three scholars asked to submit rejoinders, which were limited to 4,000 words and subject to external peer review, according to our established practice. These two rejoinders will appear in Security Dialogue 51(4): the first by Lene Hansen and the second by Ole Wæver and Barry Buzan. We have invited a response from Howell and Richter-Montpetit.
