Jim Beach is Senior Lecturer in Twentieth Century History at the University of Northampton. He is also Honorary Secretary of the Army Records Society.
Marcus Faulkner is currently a Teaching Fellow in the Department of War Studies, King's College London. His research is split between intelligence and naval affairs in the era of the two World Wars. He is currently working on a monograph dealing with German naval intelligence and a longer-term project on impact of British sea power the early years of the Second World War.
Matthew Neufeld was a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada Visiting Fellow at the University of Warwick, 2009-2011. He is currently a Lecturer in the Department of History at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada.
Clare Rhoden teaches in the English program in the school of Culture & Communication at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Her research interests include the uses of traditional heroic tropes in Great War literature, the representation of leadership across literary genres, and the evolving interpretations of Australian Great War writing.
