Forthcoming Conferences/Seminars/Workshops
Gender and Education Association Conference
Dates: 9–12 December 2018
Venue: Newcastle, NSW, Australia
Organizer: Gender and Education Association
#GEACONF2018 addresses a crucial theme of our times: ‘Gender, post-truth, populism and pedagogies: Challenges and strategies in a shifting political landscape’. We invite you to take part in discussion, exploration and debate about the ways that knowledge, authority, truth, power and harm are resurfacing and require deep, collective and sustained feminist intervention. The conference will bring us together to explore key questions such as what does it mean to be pedagogical in a post-truth landscape? How might feminist scholars work to intervene in this environment?
