Abstract

Over the past year or so, there have been a few alterations at the level of editorial management of the MHJ. Two of our colleagues, Monica Juneja and Thomas Ertl have sought to opt out of the Editorial Collective owing to more demanding responsibilities within their institutions. Monica Juneja was among the first small group who launched the MHJ back in 1998; her contribution to giving it a memorable start and sustenance over the next two decades has been immense and unforgettable. Thomas Ertl joined us half way through the journey so far but his contribution at creating a niche for MHJ in the global academia has been equally outstanding. As we say good bye to them, we wish them to know our deep sense of gratitude for their labour of love.
Happily, we have also had three other very distinguished colleagues join the Editorial Collective: Gabrielle Spiegel, Walter Pohl and Anne Lester. We may say it with some pride that all of them found the MHJ’s standing attractive enough to accept the invitation with enthusiasm. Thank you, Gabrielle, Walter and Anne.
Harbans Mukhia, who functioned as the MHJ’s editor since its inception, will no longer figure in the Collective; however, he will continue his association with it as Founding Editor.
