This annual award is judged by the members of the Accounting History Special Interest Group of the Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand and is awarded to the author(s) of the article published in the journal which “makes the most significant contribution to the accounting history literature”. The award recipient for 2016 receives an AU$600 prize sponsored by the School of Business, UNSW Canberra at the Australian Defence Force Academy.
