This article explores the use of PC econometric forecasting experiments in teaching intermediate macroeconomics. Emphasis is placed on the methodological and pedagogical aspects of these experiments. Each experiment is designed to help students better understand difficult and challenging aspects of standard macroeconomics. It is hoped that these experiments will stimulate new thinking on how computer applications can help instructors to better teach abstract and analytical subject matter not only in economics but in all disciplines.
