Now in its 25th year of publication, RSWP was founded to serve as the profession’s primary disciplinary outlet for the dissemination of research with direct applications to social work practice at all levels, micro through macro. In a very real sense, it can be considered as having a focus on evaluation research (e.g., PsycINFO) and indexing (e.g., the Web-of-Science) services.
All articles are required to have at least one professional Egyptian or other Co-author from the Arab world or involve evaluating services provided by professional social workers in the Arab world. Submissions should be carefully edited by an editor fluent in English prior to submission. The journal cannot provide comprehensive editing services. The journal does not impose any page limits on the length of submissions. Authors can expect an initial Editorial decision within six weeks following formal submission.

At least one author of a submitted article must be a professional South African social worker, and/or the interventions evaluated must have been provided by professional social workers in South Africa.
Submissions should be carefully edited by an editor fluent in English prior to submission. The journal cannot provide comprehensive editing services. The journal does not impose any page limits on the length of submissions.
