Abstract
Dr. Sue Johnson is one of the originators and the main proponent of emotionally focused couples therapy (EFT). She is a professor of clinical psychology at the University of Ottawa and Director of the Ottawa Couple and Family Institute and the Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy. In this interview, she describes the importance of a theory and how attachment theory influences EFT and those who practice it. She describes enactments, a key intervention in EFT. This interview took place in February 2007.
