Abstract
The blind peer review process is a mainstay of scientific quality control. Peer review strives to uphold scientific integrity and professional standards and shapes the evolution of our knowledge base. Producing a peer-reviewed journal requires a significant number of blind reviews annually. Many of these are completed by members of Child Maltreatment’s (CM) Editorial Board, who are acknowledged at the beginning of each issue. Many reviews are performed by external reviewers who volunteer their time and expertise to the process and who remain anonymous and unacknowledged, except for this annual listing.
