Abstract
The two Richmond (Va.) dailies have developed a plan that not only saves dollars but also provides flexibility in adding pages for the coverage of unexpected news events. The author is vice-president and assistant to the publisher of the Richmond Times-Dispatch and News Leader. He has directed their research since 1950.
