Abstract

Dr Tatiana Kozubskaya is a senior researcher at Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics (KIAM) of Russian Academy of Sciences.
After graduating from high school in Kaliningrad, she studied applied mathematics and mathematical modeling at Lomonosov Moscow State University. Her PhD thesis is devoted to numerical simulation of radiative gas dynamics problems.
Since 2002 Dr Kozubskaya is the head of Computational Aeroacoustics Laboratory at KIAM.
In 2010, she was entitled to the academic degree of Doctor of Sciences in physics and mathematics.
Her current scientific interests include higher-accuracy numerical methods on unstructured meshes for hyperbolic conservation laws, modeling of turbulent flows and turbulence-generated noise. She actively participates in applied research related to aerodynamics and aeroacoustics of helicopter rotors, jets, unsteady turbulent flows over cavities, structural components, high-lift devices, and acoustic liners. She worked in many national and European research projects, she was a team leader of FP7 European project VALIANT.
From 2006 she has regularly organized Russian Conferences and International Workshops on “Computational Experiments in Aeroacoustics.”
Dr Kozubskaya is a member of the editorial boards of International Journal of Aeroacoustics and Acoustical Physics Journal.
