“I never used to look up as a free person. But inside I had a choice. Look up and see ceiling tiles, look to my left and see barbed wire, or look up and see the stars, look to my left and see my brothers beside me. What percentage of free people go outside and look at the sky? Less than 10? Well it’s something I’ve learned here. To go outside at night and be grateful to stare at the stars.”
