A 23-year-old lady comes to see you with her partner complaining of vague right-sided abdominal pain. She has consulted several of your colleagues about it previously and no cause was found. You notice during the consultation her partner is doing all the talking and even answering history questions for her. You also notice some bruising around her wrists, which she says happened spontaneously. When you suggest you need to examine her abdomen her partner becomes irritated and he says they should leave because she is becoming tired.
