Abstract

Answer C. The normal time required to complete the test is less than 10 seconds
The normal time required to complete the test is less than 10 seconds. Further evaluation is needed if the test is not performed in 20 seconds. Those with scores between 10 and 20 seconds are at ‘intermediate risk’ and further evaluation should be considered. Patients who require more than 20 seconds for this test have a limited physical mobility, maybe at risk of falls and may require assistance from others for many mobility tasks including basic transfers.
