A 25-year-old lady who is currently 14 weeks pregnant tests positive for chlamydia.

What is the SINGLE MOST appropriate management option? Select ONE option only.

Azithromycin 1 gm as a single dose

Doxycycline 100 mg twice daily for 7 days

Metronidazole 400 mg 3 times daily for 1 week

Ofloxacin 200 mg twice daily for 7 days

Postpone treatment until after delivery
