Abstract

Answer D. Lorazepam
As chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is a progressive and life-limiting condition, patients will usually reach a point where they are in need of end-of-life care. Identification of this point in their care allows proactive advance care planning. Anxiety and panic attacks can be common symptoms at this stage. Lorazepam can help patients alongside other non-pharmacological options.
