New Possibilities in the Endovascular Treatment of Cerebral Aneurysms

Stenting and filling of the aneurysm sac with Onyx are new techniques which can be alternatives to different endovascular treatments for large aneurysms, in particular if wide-necked. The advantages of these promising techniques but also the difficulties and risks are described and discussed. More experience is necessary to establish the real impact of these new approaches.
