Grading of Astrocytomas Using Spectral Pattern Recognition Analysis of in Vivo Spectroscopic Data

Abstract

Spectral pattern recognition analysis of in vivo spectroscopic data was performed to predict histopathological tumour grade astrocytomas. Analysis of the spectral pattern of biochemical changes detected by ¹HMRS significantly improved non-invasive tumour grading.
