Jackson, D. and Moloney, K. (2019) ‘Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown’. A qualitative study of ethical PR practice in the United Kingdom, 2019; 8(1), 87–101. DOI 10.1177/2046147X18810732.
Editors would like to make a correction to the definition of the acronym ‘PRCA’ which was described in the article ‘Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown’. A qualitative study of ethical PR practice in the United Kingdom’ (2019) under its former name – ‘Public Relations Consultants Association’. While the acronym is correct, the organization changed its name to ‘Public Relations and Communications Association’ in 2016. The Public Relations Consultants Association was formed in 1969 and amalgamated the first PR consultant’s organization The Society of Independent Public Relations Consultants (SIPRC – formed 1960) along with consultancies that included public relations and advertising services.
