Abstract
Clinical History:
A 62-year-old gentleman underwent a partial penectomy with us—which came back on histopathology as a well-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma—pT2, margins clear.
In accordance with established guidelines, he was planned for a bilateral inguinal lymph node dissection. The approach chosen was a robotic-assisted, lateral approach.
Physical Examination:
On examination as well as imaging, he was clinically node negative (cN0), Eastern Co-operative Oncology Group 1 status.
Diagnosis:
Well-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma of the penis—pT2 (status-post partial penectomy).
Intervention:
Robotic Assisted-Video Endoscopic Inguinal Lymph Node Dissection—via the Lateral Approach.
Outcome:
He was discharged on postoperative day 2, wounds well healed, no skin complications.
