Abstract
Welcome to Volume 37, Issue 1, of Career Development and Transition for Exceptional Individuals (CDTEI), the official journal of the Division on Career Development and Transition (DCDT) of the Council for Exceptional Children. We hope that 2014 has been good to you so far and that the content of this special issue on disability and poverty will make things even better. We would like to thank Dr. Lauren Lindstrom for conceptualizing and serving as the special issue editor. As you will read, she had done an excellent job of gathering a set of provocative articles on the topic.
As we start another year as Co-Editors of CDTEI, we continue to be impressed by the quality of research and depth of commitment of our colleagues in the field of secondary transition. In addition, we are always appreciative of the time and effort our Consulting Editors and Guest Editors take in reviewing manuscripts. We could not do this without you.
