Abstract
Four articles published in this issue of the South Asian Journal of Macroeconomics and Public Finance are drawn from a conference on Open Economy Macroeconomics held at the Department of Economics, Jadavpur University, Kolkata in 2014 with financial support from the Centre for Training and Research in Public Finance and Policy, Centre for Studies in Social Sciences, Calcutta (CSSSC). Saikat Sinha Roy is the Guest Editor of this issue.
The Best article Award for the two issues published in 2014 is given to Peter Nunnenkamp and Maximiliano Sosa Andres for their article entitled ‘Ownership Choices of Indian Direct Investors: Do FDI Determinants Differ between Joint Ventures and Wholly Owned Subsidiaries?’ published in Volume 3, Issue 1 of the South Asian Journal of Macroeconomics and Public Finance.
