I am happy to share that the journal is now Scopus indexed. It is already indexed in EBSCO, ProQuest, and J-Gate. It is a milestone in the journey toward excellence. Our endeavor has always been toward attracting high-quality manuscripts. The review process helps in further improving the article quality.
The current issue and volume 6(2) covers variety of subjects including a book review of eminent Indian Psychologists. It is a SAGE Publication and is authored by Bhushan. The review is exhaustive and is written by Gupta and Bhattacharjee. The banking formats are undergoing change. Ahmed and Ahmed capture the agent banking business in Bangladesh in a case study. The case analyzes how innovation in the banking sector can aid poor people to gain access to financial institutions through the Agrani Doer banking business model. Loan default is a serious problem in banking industries. Chopra and Bhilare in their article use tree learning techniques and recommend that the risk-team should adopt newer contemporary techniques to achieve better accuracy resulting in effective loan recovery strategies. Gupta and Navdeep have worked on signaling effect of shifts in dividend policy in the Indian markets. Kaur and Singh have examined the Reputation-Performance Liaison in Indian Context and have shown that reputation as a strategic resource necessary to enhance firm performance. Ahmad and Premaratne have done an interesting comparison between Indian and Sri Lankan economies on the effect of low and negative interest rates and conclude that Indian and Sri Lankan economies are affected by the US and UK policies.
There are two interesting papers in the area of marketing. The theme of celebrity endorsement and donation is studied by Peterson, Tripoli, Langenbach, and Devasagayam. Effectiveness of brand extension for increasing profit using the neural network and Structural Equation Modeling is done by Joshi and Yadav.
