Abstract

Dear subscribers, readers, and contributors of the articles of Emerging Economic Studies (EES), thank you very much. You have made this journal a success story. EES has completed Volume 1, and the issue of Volume 2.1 is in your hands. This has been possible because the infant received support from different stakeholders, spread over different continents. It is due to their support that the journal has received articles from scholars far in excess of the space available for their publication. It is the response that the journal has received from the fraternity of scholars that has enriched its content and given variety in themes of the articles published in the journal. If we continue to get the response from the fraternity, we may increase the frequency of its publication in near future. At the moment of rejoice, I would like to thank the editorial team of the journal at International Management Institute (IMI), New Delhi, Dr. Arnab Deb and Dr. Prageet Aeron, and the members of the editorial board. I also acknowledge the help that the editorial team received from the persons involved in the production of the journal at the SAGE Publications for their relentless effort for timely publication of the journal.
It is also my proud honor to pay my gratitude to all the scholars who helped by participating in the process of peer review of the articles. Without their valuable help, it would be difficult to maintain the quality of content and objectivity on the selection of articles for publication.
I would also like to place on record the immense support and encouragement that the editorial team has received from the Director General, Padma Shree Dr. Bakul H. Dholakia, and our colleagues at IMI, New Delhi.
I am also taking this opportunity to inform that Prageet Aeron has discontinued his services as the associate editor of the journal, as he has moved elsewhere for better prospects. In his place, I would like to welcome the inclusion of Dr. Alok Kumar Singh as a new member of the editorial team. Finally, I would like to state that I need not to emphasize the quality, variety, and depth of the analysis in the content of the articles published in the journal, because these facts are now in public domain.
