Abstract

News is overshadowed by the coronavirus, and subsequent lockdowns, and a state of uncertainty around the world.
The world is changing and so are all of us. The question is if we will all go back to status quo ante or there will be some permanent change. Let us hope there will be some change for the good of society and people, and a new normal not based on an insane race to get ahead happens.
We will continue with our special issue, JCV 6-2, Agile Software Development and Creating Value.
With this change, a number of conferences are being cancelled and postponed. One conference that has adapted a new version is the 3rd Global Conference on Creating Value. This conference will be two pronged. The first will be an e-conference, based on keynotes and a creative session to come up with permanent solutions for all of us in light of the ‘wicked’ problem of the COVID-19 crisis. This will be on the original conference dates of 2–3 June 2020. This will be followed by a physical conference in Paris on 20–21 October 2020. You can get more information on creatingvalue.co
The 31 March 2020 conference at Northeastern University in Boston is postponed to later in the year. Topic is on How Businesses Create and Destroy Value for Society.
The 28–30 April conference in Geneva is cancelled.
Conferences in Netherlands, Denmark and Japan are postponed to later in the year.
The Poland conference, Congress of Marketing, Trade and Consumption Departments’ Scientific Employees 2020: ‘Revolution 4.0: Perspectives for Marketing, Trade and Consumption’, will feature talks on ‘value creation’ and is postponed to March 15–17, 2021.
Do write for the Journal of Creating Value special issue on Agile Software and Creating Value. Do see the notice.
Please remain safe, and see you soon.
