Mathematical analysis of gyrotactic microorganisms swim in non-Newtonian nanofluid slip flow,convective heat and mass transfer due to stretching sheet

This paper scrutinizes the flow, heat and mass transfer of Newtonian and non-Newtonian nanofluid with motile gyrotactic microorganisms swim. This study also includes the effect of non-linear thermal radiation, viscous dissipation, and joule heating. Slip boundary condition for flow and convective boundary condition for heat transfer analysis is taken into consideration. The governing partial differential equations of considered flow, heat, chemical reaction and density of gyrotactic microorganism equation are transformed into ordinary differential equations using most simple similarity transformations. The ordinary nonlinear differential equations are solved by numerical method and by BVP4C in MATLAB. The current skin friction co-efficient are validated by comparing with the findings of the earlier published result. Velocity of the nanofluid decreases with increasing values of Bio convection Rayleigh number, Buoyancy ratio parameter. Temperature enhances due increasing values of thermal radiation, temperature ratio parameter, Biot number parameter and Eckert number. Concentration profile decrease with increasing values of Lewis number Eckert number Brownian motion parameter, whereas concentration profile shows opposite behavior with increasing values of thermophoresis parameter.
