Abstract

As we move through 2026, i want to take a moment to invite new submissions to Gaming Law review.
Now in its third decade as the leading peer-reviewed journal dedicated exclusively to the legal, regulatory, economic, and policy issues surrounding gaming and gambling, we continue to publish timely, high-quality scholarship that influences how regulators, operators, attorneys, and policymakers think about this dynamic industry.
Gaming Law Review is always on the lookout for original articles, comments, notes, and book reviews from academics, practitioners, regulators, and industry professionals. We are particularly interested in pieces that examine the following:
Emerging regulatory frameworks for sports betting, iGaming, and prediction markets. The intersection of gaming with new technologies (AI, blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and virtual reality). Tribal gaming, land-based casino operations, and responsible gambling initiatives. Judicial decisions, legislative developments, and compliance challenges across jurisdictions. Economic and policy implications of market expansion, mergers, and innovation.
We publish on a rolling basis and are always looking for new perspectives on both long-standing issues and emerging technology.
We offer rapid turnaround from submission to first decision in our peer-review process.
Submission guidelines (quick reference):
