Abstract

Submissions can run the gamut from original articles to commentaries to international legal and regulatory updates to notes to book reviews. We accept submissions from academics, practitioners, regulators, industry professionals, and laypeople.
We are particularly interested in pieces that examine:
Emerging regulatory frameworks for sports betting, iGaming, and prediction markets The intersection of gaming with new technologies (AI, blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and virtual reality) Tribal gaming, land-based casino operations, and responsible gambling initiatives Judicial decisions, legislative developments, and compliance challenges across jurisdictions Economic and policy implications of market expansion, mergers, and innovation
We publish on a rolling basis and are always looking for new perspectives on both long-standing issues and emerging technology.
We offer rapid turnaround from submission to first decision in our peer-review process.
Submission Guidelines (quick reference):
Preferred length: 5,000–12,000 words (including footnotes) Format: Microsoft Word, Bluebook citation style All submissions should be made directly by the author(s) through our online submission system at the journal’s homepage (journals-sagepub-com.web.bisu.edu.cn/home/glr).
