An Angle's Class I Malocclusion on an Extreme Skeletal II Base

The possession of a skeletal discrepancy in the anteroposterior plane, between upper and lower jaws, prejudices the chances of a patient's achieving normal occlusal relations. An example of dental compensation in the face of extreme skeletal discrepancy is illustrated, together with the results of its treatment. The stability of the final result is discussed in relation to the soft tissue environment.
