Using Anp and Bocr Structure for Location Analysis of Plywood and Veneer Industry Plants,the Case of Iran

The aim of this article is to show how to select the best location for the establishment of wood industry units in Iran. The decision is examined in a framework of benefits, opportunities, costs, and risks (the BOCR), called the merits of the decision. A hierarchy is used to prioritize the BOCR themselves are prioritized using the Analytic Hierarchy Process ratings approach, for it is recognized that benefits, opportunities, costs and risks are often not emphasized equally when making a decision, and the way to decide which is more important is to evaluate them in terms of the values of the decision-making person or organization. A control hierarchy is then created and prioritized using the AHP to evaluate the “control criteria” of the system. There are a total of 18 control criteria in the system and each controls a decision network evaluated using the Analytic Network Process (ANP). The 6 alternatives of the decision, the potential locations, appear in the decision networks. The final synthesis of the system shows Baneh in the province of Kurdestan is the best choice.
