I received some really good information from John Coates (Principle, Coates Consulting) recently. Having worked with him on a few projects over the years, I am always impressed on his ability to make smaller and less expensive instruments. His ultimate goal is to make quality units small and inexpensive enough to almost be considered “disposable.” Much of the “future” section is about these smaller and more rugged instruments.
