Erratum

In the editorial ‘Recommendations for the referral and treatment of patients with lower limb chronic venous insufficiency’ by S Zimmet (Phlebology 2011;26:89–90), an error appeared in the second full paragraph of column two on page 89. The following sentence:

‘Primary care physicians, general surgeons, interventional radiologists, dermatologists and physicians can now do many vein procedures in an office setting via percutaneous or simple surgical procedures from other specialty backgrounds.’

should have read as follows:

‘Primary care physicians, general surgeons, interventional radiologists, dermatologists and physicians from other specialty backgrounds can now do many vein procedures in an office setting via percutaneous or simple surgical procedures.’
