Abstract

Concerns were raised about the following figures in the article: A) Figure 1, appears to be duplicate Figure 1 [1] and
Figure 1 [3] B) A segment of Figure 2 appears to duplicate a segment in
Figure 7B [1] C) Elements of Figure 3a appears to overlap with images from
Figure 2a [2] and Figure 2a [3] and Figure 4b [4] D) Elements of Figure 3b appears to overlap with images from
Figure 4a [4] and Figure 5b [5] Figure 2b [3]
Figure 1a [6] E) Elements of Figure 4b and Figure 4c appear to overlap
with Figure 7b [7] and Figure 8c and
8f[1] F) Figure 7 appears to duplicate Figure 10 [1]
The authors explained that the article in Adsorption Science & Technology and two other articles [2] [6] were published as result of one of the author’s Master’s thesis. The authors noted that the lack of attribution across the articles was due to the articles being written concurrently.
The authors were unable to provide the uncropped raw images underlying the figure panels.
Due to the lack of raw images that call into question the validity of the findings, Sage and the Journal Editor retracts this article.
